Welcome To the new JFLA website

Happy New Year from the Japan Foundation, Los Angeles. We have spent the last three months working on a new website for our users and what you see here is the fruits of our labor. The website includes new features that we hope will make your visit more enjoyable. Please feel free to browse the site and let us know if you have any questions.

The Japan Foundation would like to express its deepest gratitude for sincere messages of sympathy from all over the world.

The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, will be offering original Japanese language and culture courses starting in January of 2012 at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center.

The 2012 JET-MIP program will provide 32 high school students with the opportunity to go to Japan for two weeks as a group to meet Japanese students, experience Japanese culture, and study the language.
